The Interactive Bible

• 1. Confess all known sin in your life.
  Sin only comes out of your life by way of your mouth. Forgiveness brings release from those things God reveals to you. (Ps. 66:18; 1 John 1:9)

• 2. Acknowledge your need of the Holy Spirit to direct your prayers..
  Effective prayer is energized by the Spirit of God within you. Allow the Holy Spirit to bring to your mind the things which are in agreement with God and His will. (Rom 8:26)

• 3. Die to your own desires.
  Discipline your prayer time from interruptions and rampant thoughts. Focus on being in the presence of God. (Prov. 3:5-6;Is.55:8

• 4. Confirm prayer with the Word.
  Use your Bible to reference the direction God gives you in prayer. Keep a notebook to record the things God speaks to you. (Ps. 119:105)

• 5. Praise God for His work in your lives.
  God answers prayer! He rewards those who diligently seek Him. He is worthy of praise for who He is and what He does in our lives. (Rom. 11:36)
